Spice Drop

Care, passed down. Ritual, made your own.

Inspired by Nubian and Sudanese traditions, NU-BAA Rituals celebrates the intimate act of caring for textured hair. Spice Drop is our first ritual: a 100 ml hair oil inspired by generations of women who made time for their crowns.

Heritage is our starting point. A beautiful, thoughtful formula is our ambition.

Our lead development blend brings together meadowfoam, Abyssinian, moringa, camellia and baobab oils, supported by plant-derived squalane, jojoba, sesame, oat, marula and other carefully selected oils and infusions.

The 22-component formula is currently being tested and is not yet the approved production formula. Visit our Ingredient Library for the full plain-language overview; the final INCI declaration will be confirmed with the finished product.

Make room for a moment of care.

Set the scene, slow down and treat your crown with intention. Our ritual is inspired by the traditional practice of hair oiling, but the precise amount and application method for Spice Drop will follow the final safety-assessed product directions.

Until those directions are confirmed, we are not recommending an untested scalp routine. Follow the approved instructions supplied with your bottle.

For external use only. Patch test before first use, avoid contact with eyes and discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep away from children and store away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.

Always follow the finished product’s full precautions and approved directions of use. If your scalp is sensitive or irritated, seek professional advice before applying a new cosmetic product.
